Be Part of It – Create 100,000 new Black businesses throughout America to 2010
Small business is responsible for 85 percent of all new jobs in America. With the collaboration efforts of Black Haves and Black have-nots, small businesses can for jobs in our communities, the interests of both groups stand to benefit.
Some years ago a good friend of mine told me about an incident in which he asked a wealthy white person "who care will take care of the poor whites "The man replied:" Wealthy white people care about poor white people. "My friend asked Then: "Who cares about poor blacks meet?" The man said: "God cares about poor blacks meet." not the wealthy white man even consider that wealthy Black people would take care of poor black population increase. Why is this so?
Donations to Black colleges, as in numerous current reports suggest, are almost non-existent among Blacks and Black alumni. For decades, business and foundation donations from our nation's historically Black colleges off Preserve life. In addition, huge pools of wealthy Blacks have graduated from traditionally white colleges. Without access to the historically Black colleges, they have little incentive to donate. [I would like to think they could at least some tiny incentive]
I will formulate the rich white man's statement differently. White care "haves" is the white "have-nots." Black "Haves" take care of Black "have-nots." Black Haves do take care of the black have-nots, is not it?
Prior to the passage of 1964 Civil Rights Act, blacks were the majority, regardless of their background and other factors such as education, hair texture, or color, needed to sit in the back of the bus, denied seating in many white restaurants and prohibited drinking from a source that says "white only."
The small groups of Black Haves were forced to live in the same neighborhood with the large group of have-nots ("Redlining" was the term often used to refer to mortgage discrimination) before the Community Reinvestment Act and Equal Housing Laws. One of the most degrading social practices, Black men, subject, regardless of size, age or financial means were to generally as a "boy" considered by many within the white population.

Today, in American cities, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday by paying the white caterers provide meals in the best white-owned banquet centers and Hotels wear our best clothes and a payment of $ 40 per plate. Few of these dollars go to Black entrepreneurs. Dr. King told White America to ante up economic opportunities for blacks. That was his mission when he shot and killed in Memphis. He was fighting for the economic opportunities for garbage workers.
Forgotten in the meantime Do not, Malcolm X, the street lobbyist. These people are among the 8 out of 10 blacks who are unemployed or underemployed, and living paycheck to paycheck. While the black have-nots are trapped in the blazing fire of poverty with no door marked "Exit" the Black Haves spend their corporate paychecks and maximize their credit cards in their newfound communities, together with, for many, and desire to try / or mix.

In "The Ballot or the Bullet" speech, Malcolm X said: "The community in which you spend your money is richer and richer the community from which you make your money getting poorer and poorer. "

The Black Haves rush on business live outside of the very communities in which they were born to patronize, Rose and her family still. To save those who stay behind struggle to find a corner.

Today, the AG Gaston Expo is held annually in Birmingham to promote economic growth in the Black community with a focus on creating to promote prosperity and capacity building, provide that companies that create jobs in the black community.
Many Black Haves are now more self-centered. Black haves are, for the most part, leery of risk. You play it safe. Malcolm and Martin took the risks.
We have the talent pool, those to take risks to create businesses in Black communities. Where does this talent pool reside? This talent is found mainly in corporate America? Did the blacks, These are used for the work from 08.00 clock accountants, marketing specialists, lawyers, IT professionals and others who need to create skill-set, companies have?
The "inclusion" Objectives of Corporate America are met by hiring Black Haves. But they rarely hire or provide opportunities for the black have-nots.

Were these jobs not through the "Ready to Die" brothers and sisters, the streets of Minneapolis, Detroit, Los Angeles, Cleveland created filled, Birmingham, Washington DC and other cities across America during the unrest of the 60s? Their legacy was they were on, fighting for justice, cared and took the risk to a better way.
Malcolm X said on the afternoon of 3 April 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio:
"The economic philosophy of black nationalism shows the importance of our people to build these little stores and developing them and expanding them into larger Operations. Woolworth did not start great as they are today. It began with a dime store and expanded and expanded and then expanded until today they are all over the country and everywhere on the world, and they receive a portion of everyone's money … – General Motors [is] the same way. They did not start as it is. It began a little rat race type operation. And it expands and it expanded until today, where it is now. And you and I to start is a start and the best place to right in the community where we live.
"So our People need to be re-educated not only to the importance of supporting black business, but the black man himself has pointed out the importance of going into business be. And if you go and I in the economy, at least we own and operate businesses in our community. What we do is to develop a situation where we actually to be able to create employment for the people in the community. "
Again, I will rephrase the wealthy white man's original Statement. The White Haves take care of the whites have-nots. The Black Haves take care of the black have-nots. The Black Haves do take care of the black have-nots, is not it?
I present you: the Black Haves of today must step up to the leaders of small businesses for the benefit of the Black Revolution have-nots. You can use the Stimulus package for the communities in which they grew up, where their relatives live in the same communities they have left, in many cases. The Black Have Nots follow the Black Haves – because they want good jobs and safe communities, too.
I enclose: businessmen like Bob Johnson, Magic Johnson, Madame CJ Walker, Russell Simmons, Reginald Lewis, AG Gaston, Earl Graves, and John Johnson are but a few of the many talented creators in our communities. They created jobs, opportunities, and the revival. Their religion is not the important factor, nor is their fraternity, sorority, church, social networking organization, school performance, or political affiliation. Both Black Haves and Have-Nots are supporters of presidential candidates Obama and McCain. The need of the hour is to build economically strong communities in order to To achieve parity in America.
Small business is responsible for 85 percent of all new jobs in America. With the joint efforts of Black Haves and have nots can Black, small businesses for jobs in our communities who stand to benefit the interests of both groups.
